Green Powerhouse Smoothie

This cool, refreshing, green smoothie is packed full of fruits, vegetables, and loads of nutrients. While jalapeno may be an unusual smoothie ingredient, it provides a slight zip and amazing contrast to the sweetness of the fruits.   • Ingredients

    ½ cup cucumber, diced (125 mL)

    ¼ cup cantaloupe, diced (60 mL)

    ¼ cup pineapple, diced (60 mL)

    ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped (60 mL)

    ½ avocado, diced (1/2)

    ½ small jalapeno, ribs and seeds removed (1/2)

    2 Tbsp Greek yogurt (30 mL)

    1 Tbsp Canola oil (15 mL)

    1 Tbsp fresh lime juice (15 mL)

    ½ Tbsp honey (7 mL)

    ½ c ice (125 mL)

  • Directions
    1. Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender. Blend and enjoy!
