1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (5 mL)

1 Tbsp very finely chopped onion (15 mL)

1 small clove garlic, minced (1)

  • Directions
    1. Place tilapia strips in a large bowl. Combine lemon juice, garlic, onion, salt and pepper in small bowl. Add to tilapia strips and toss to coat fish with ingredients. Let marinate for 30 minutes in refrigerator.
    2. Meanwhile, combine all ingredients for the Green Pepper and Tomato Relish in a medium bowl. Combine all ingredients for the Tartar Sauce in a small bowl. Combine all ingredients for the Rose Dressing in a small bowl. Refrigerate until fish is ready to serve.
    3. Drain fish strips. Place the flour and bread crumbs on separate plates. Beat the eggs and pour into a pie plate. Meanwhile, heat canola oil in a large frying pan to about 350°F (180°C). Dip the tilapia strips in flour, then the egg and then the bread crumbs. Cook fish strips in canola oil for about 2 minutes (depending on the size of the strips) turning fish strips to brown both sides.
    4. Serve fish immediately with Green Pepper and Tomato Relish, Tartar Sauce and Rose sauce.
