This holiday season keep it simple, master one cookie base and get creative with your layers of flavour.  We all love a beautiful tray of holiday sweets and with this easy base you are able to start with a layer that includes healthy fats from canola oil and almonds.

This is our twist on a Sweet Shortbread Crust that you can use this holiday season.  It uses heart healthy canola oil, ground almonds, flour, baking powder, salt and icing sugar.  Follow the recipe below and top with your favourite no bake toppings for a quick and easy, yet homemade treat.
