I recently had the opportunity to start my holiday baking at our #CanolaConnect Holly Jolly Baking workshop with Chef Claire Tansey (if you haven’t checked out Claire’s 20-minute cooking school videos on Facebook – do it now!). At the workshop, she had one of the groups make her Mincemeat & Cherry Tea Cake – something I have not had in forever. It was so incredibly delicious that I’m bringing mincemeat back into my baking repertoire.

She’s been incredibly generous in sharing this recipe on her blog.

It’s a feather, a tree and a root!  It’s a one of a kind, totally original piece of jewelry from Fat Daug and I had the pleasure of meeting her at a local festival.

She is an incredible artist with amazing pieces of jewelry.   She takes the harvested animals antlers and carves them into unique, one of a kind pieces.
