Oh how I love those products.  Tiber River is a Canadian company that rivals any brand I’ve tried.  They smell amazing but it’s how they make my skin feel, so soft, not greasy yet hydrated.  I love that they are a local company and they even use canola oil in their products.  It’s very Canadian of them! My latest favorite is their Goddess lotion.

More Mindful Moments in Nature

Heart in hands | www.canolaeatwell.com

As the leaves fall and the temperature drops I find myself retreating into my home, baking and making soup, pulling out those warm layers and drinking extra coffee. It’s in these moments that I need to pause and remind myself to spend more mindful moments in nature. With the right gear, any season with any type of weather can bring you a breathe of fresh air and recharge your soul. When was the last time you unplugged, stepped outside, looked up to the sky and pulled in a few big breaths?

  1. I love my kitchen scale it’s great to measure out flour for baking, and great if you are portion controlling your meals, and to weigh out bulk items to freeze!

  2. Darn I misread the question! Besides a sharp kitchen knife another must have for me is my coffee maker. No sense in starting the day without coffee.

  3. Besides a sharp knive, my must have is my hand whisk. I love it for beating eggs, stirring lumps out of sauces, and making jello puddings – whisking up evaporated milk and then incorporating a jello. We used to call this jelly fluff in the old country/

  4. My must have tool in my kitchen is my cheese grater. I love pasta dishes with cheese on top, potato pancakes for breakfast and a multitude of dishes and salads that require a grater.

  5. My food processor is my must have kitchen tool. I also need a great knife. With these I can do great things.

  6. My must have kitchen tool are my beaters. I know many prefer the kitchen aid, but licking the beaters is not the same that way.

  7. I can’t live without my measuring spoons. I use them to measure teas, coffees, sugar, spices, and more. They really help me avoid wasting items that I would previously eyeball.

  8. My 3qt saute’ pan—every time I cook anything I use that pan for all or some part of the dish. I only put it away when company comes.

  9. There are two items I must have in my kitchen: the first is a sharp and uncompromising Chef’s Knife; the second is my Wok. I can make magic happen with these two things!

  10. My must have kitchen tool is definitely SHARP knives. Nothing worse than knives that are dull.

    Thanks for the chance

  11. I use my Kitchenaid for everything from cakes to cookies to homemade bread. I’m still hinting to my family to get the pasta attachment so I can start making my own pasta – maybe this Christmas!! 🙂

  12. I can’t live without my offset spatula. The small is my favourite but I have a couple of larger ones as well. I use it for everything from icing a cake or cupcakes, spreading batter in a pan to spreading mayo or fillings on a sandwich.

  13. I love making my own marinades and pesto so a mortar and pestle is a must for me! I love how it brings out the amazing natural oils.

  14. I love making stir frys and potato au gratin, and since I don’t have the best knife skills, a good mandolin is a must have for me.

  15. I would need my sharp knife and different cutting boards for fruit, veggies and meat.
Aside from a coffee to keep me going and canola oil for my baking and frying needs.

  16. That’s hard because there are so many. My must have besides knives is my potato peeler. Of course I use it to peel carrots, cucumbers and so much more. Thank you for the chance to win! Happy Thanksgiving to you & your family!

  17. My favorite most used kitchen item is our Insta pot and wok for easy use and delicious meals made with canola cooking oil. #CanolaEatWell

  18. I have a metal “cooling rack” of sorts that I use all the time. I actually bought it at a dollar store several years ago– I don’t remember what its intended purpose was! 🙂
Also, I use my big silicone oven mitt pretty often. It works great, and is so convenient!
