French Herb Vinaigrette

Chopped herbs are traditionally found in French vinaigrette. The chopped parsley, thyme and rosemary in this red wine vinegar based vinaigrette makes any salad complete.

  • Ingredients
    • 1/2 cup canola oil (125 mL)
    • 2 Tbsp lemon, juiced (30 mL)
    • 2 Tbsp red wine vinegar (30 mL)
    • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley (15 mL)
    • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh thyme (15 mL)
    • 1 Tbsp chopped fresh rosemary (15 mL)
    • 1 tsp granulated sugar (5 mL)
    • 1 garlic clove, minced (1)
  • Directions
    1. In a container with a tight fitting lid, combine canola oil, lemon juice, re wine vinegar, parsley, thyme, rosemary, sugar, garlic and shake well. Refrigerate.  Use within 2 or 3 days.
