Curbside Conversation #EatWellCanolaOil Workshop | www.canolaeatwell.com

While we’re talking street food and doing some hands-on learning with Chef Adam, we want our Twitter followers to be a part of it. The next best thing to inviting everyone to Toronto is to host a simultaneous Twitter drop-in party.

Drop-in online at #EatWellCanolaOil anytime on Friday, August 28 from 12 – 2 pm EST while we meet in person with Chef Adam. No need to stay on all day, pop into the online conversation at any point and let us know you’re following along.

We will be sharing our street food favourites, asking for yours too and best of all, if you join in, you’ll be entered for prizes.

Starting Friday, you can also enter below for an additional chance at prizes! Two copies of Chef Adam Hynam-Smith’s Modern Street Food CURBSIDE from a Vegabond Chef will be giveaway as well as a private tasting, pairing and tour of Ravine Vineyard Estate Winery for up to 10 people.

4 Street Style recipes that you need to try!

Classic Canola French Fries|www.canolaeatwell.com

Classic French Fries

Crisp and delicious.  Season with salt to taste or perhaps you’d like to make a dip such as a Creamy Herb Dip or a Remoulade  to take your fries to the next level.

Canola oil is a great choice for high heat cooking. It has one of the highest smoke points of all commonly used vegetable oils at 468 °F (242°C).

Vanilla Sugar Dusted Churros with Chocolate Sauce | www.canolaeatwell.com

Vanilla Sugar Dusted Churros With Chocolate Sauce

Want to indulge? Then this is the recipe for you! Crunchy, chewy and chocolaty churros make every celebration like a Cinco de Mayo party.

Of course, churros are traditionally fried in oil.  We recommend using canola oil—it can take the heat!  If you don’t want to fry them, you can bake them instead.

Sweet and Spicy Asian Chicken Skewers | www.canolaeatwell.com

Sweet And Spicy Asian Chicken Skewers

Sweet and spicy is what best describes these marinated chicken skewers. The Fresh ginger and sweet honey balance out the hot Sriracha and hoisin sauce.

Before grilling, make sure to lightly oil the grates with canola oil, because the honey and hoisin-Sriracha sauce can cause the chicken to stick to the grill.

Banana and Cream Cheese Dessert Wontons

Banana And Cream Cheese Dessert Wontons With Chocolate Drizzle

Warm bananas and cream cheese wrapped in wontons that are fried crisp and drizzled with cinnamon flavoured chocolate sauce. I bet you can’t eat just one!

You can bake them or fry them. It’s your choice. We have given you the how-to for both techniques.
