Top 5 tips for a great stir-fry
1. If you don’t have a wok, you can use a large flat bottom sauté pan.
2. Make sure you have all of your ingredients chopped and ready to go. As well, make sure all of your ingredients are the same size for even cooking.
3. Use enough canola oil to coat the bottom of your pan.
4. Canola can take the heat for a stir-fry. Canola oil has a high smoke point 468 F or 242 C which makes it the perfect oil for this high heat cooking method.
5. Fry once the vegetables are cooked and before the sauce is added. Make sure to bring the protein back up to temperature.
